Charles Josef Designs is an independent clothing design house that consists of a designer and a small group of assistants. We have remained a small business throughout the years for a reason and that is to be able to give each client the attention they deserve.
Each design project begins with a consultation with Charles Josef, designer and owner. The goal of the consultation is to work with the client in establishing an overall vision and direction for the project. Whether planning for a wedding or designing a unique day garment, Charles works closely with the client in determining their goals and preferences for the project.
The cost of a bridal consultation is 150.00 for one hour. The consultation will provide the bride with 3 sketches, fabric choices, a set of detailed measurements, and a suggestion for the bridesmaids along with a cost proposal. The bride can then request any revisions to suit her taste and style. Once the design is finalized the consultation cost will be deducted from the final price and a deposit amount and schedule of payments will be determined. A deposit is required to begin all projects and all payments should be submitted when requested to insure the timely completion of your project.* Brides may also request in advance to meet with anyone in our network of bridal professional during her consultation and it will be arranged according to availability.
For other garments the consultation fee is 50.00 for one half hour and will provide the client with one sketch, fabric suggestions and a cost proposal. The consultation fee will be deducted from the total cost and a deposit and payment arrangements will be determined. As with bridal a deposit is required to begin the project and payment arrangements will be determined in advance to insure the timely completion of your project.
Charles Josef takes part in the design and construction of every garment to insure a quality product and a perfect fit. There will be a predetermined number of fittings included with each garment. If additional fittings are required to fit the client to perfection, the client will be advised and fitting fees will be incurred. Additionally any changes that are made to the final design or any alterations required will be subject to a fee.
All meetings with the designer are subject to a fee or payment installment. Accordingly, the client should be prepared to tender payment. As a convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not, however, accept post dated checks.
Once the garment is complete, we are glad to do any repairs or alterations due to figure changesor wear and will advise you of the fees involved in advance.
Charles Josef offers an exclusive service to his clients and takes pride in devoting attention to the needs of every client. For this reason Charles is available by appointment only in his studio. Appointments are available Monday – Friday from 11 am – 6:30 pm Saturday and evening appointments can be scheduled and are subject to availability. Cobsultation outside of Atlanta including other states can be arranged and will involve travel expenses.
*Deposits- Once your deposit is paid, your garment will be scheduled into our workload. This will not be done so until your deposit is paid. Your price proposal is good for 2 weeks from the date you receive it. If a deposit is not received within 2 weeks, the porposal may be increased to work the project into our schedule and still meet your time requirements for the garment. Accordingly any additional shipping fees, rush charges, or overtime required to finish the project will be the responsibility of the client. |
